Summer Learning Journy!

Maui all ways asked to go fishing with his older brothers but they would make up excuses.
Maui made a fishing line from flax.  
Maui snuck into his brother's boat so he could fish.

Dear, Lucus 

I have been on the waka for 1 week now. I am still very nervous to be leaving everything I have and everyone I know. I have made some good friends already. I am also very excited to be going to a new country to see other places in our big world.

I hope to write back to you soon

    Kia Ora Fleur,

    My name is Georgia and I am the cluster manager for the Kaikohekohe (Northland) cluster. For the next few days, I'll be commenting on students blogs from Uru Manuka and I am very excited to see the work you all have been doing this summer.

    It is awesome to see you've completed the first day of activities. I especially like your letter to your friend Lucas. It's great to see you've included how you'd be feeling about making the move to NZ. I am from Whangarei which is near the very top of the North Island, but I live in Wellington during the year for University.
